It all started in 1974 with three brothers, Richard, Fred and Eric Powell along with their cousin John Lovatt. From the humble beginnings of crafting bespoke joinery in the family’s cow shed, we are proud of our history and what the business has since become. Everyone in our team feels like a member of the P&L family, helping to create over 6000 staircases each year.
